Vision of Love tells the collective exhibitions “Prochainement ici” and “Vision of Love” by Gaëlle Choisne, David Posth-Kohler, Pablo Réol and Octave Rimbert-Rivière, photographed by Pablo Réol and Jean-Julien Ney, performed by Tom Castinel in his video Wacio. This visual logorrhea is accompanied by two critical texts: Tetra by Joël Riff and Circular Economy & Shared Generosity by Charlotte Cosson and Emmanuelle Luciani, both translated from French to English by Derek Byrne. The lettering inside the cover was specifically designed for the book by Octave Rimbert-Rivière and Alaric Garnier. Published with the support of ADÉRA (Association des écoles d’art Auvergne Rhône-Alpes).
“They are a quadrilateral. Others participate in their geometry but in the end it is a four sided figure that seals the deal. Trapezoid, parallelogram, lozenge, rectangle or square, the characteristic of the polygon that is drawn by them depends on the context in which it is inscribed. Nothing scientific here, more-so sentimental mathematics. The angle that each individuality opens is a mobile one and a home for flexible action. No one of them can move without carrying the three others along in the movement.” Joël Riff
